Beach volleyball
Camp Matyáš has a well-kept sandy beach volleyball court. Volleyball balls are at your disposal. You can also play beach football or even badminton. All equipment for these sports is freely available.
Motorboat rental
Experience an unforgettable trip on a motorboat on the Vltava River, for example to the confluence of the Sázava and Vltava rivers, or the island of Kilián, or to the Štěchovice Dam. ◦ Power 5HP (no need for "boat driver's license") ◦ with a full tank of gasoline ◦ vests for children
Fireplace
A traditional meeting place and the heart of every campsite. By the fireplace you can roast sausages, or just sit, watch the fire, or chat with someone from the camp who will sit down with you and then maybe become your friend. This is what happens normally in our camp.
Sitting at the grill with herb garden
A large stone grill with a spacious seating area invites you to a scented barbecue even with more friends. You can enhance your culinary art with an admixture of fresh herbs, which for the moment grow in the garden right next to the grill. You just must pluck.
Bike rental
A large selection of bikes mainly Dutch type for adults, bikes for bigger and small children, and child seats for parents' bikes for the little ones. Part of the symbolic rental fee of 50, -CZK / bike / day, are also bicycle helmets and locks for bicycles.
Rental of boats, canoes, and paddleboards
For lovers of water fun, there are canoes, a rubber boat with paddles and a paddleboard available in the Camp.
Swimming in a quiet river
Direct access to the Vltava River from Camp Matyáš. Private pier, calm and clear water, gradual entry into the water with a maximum depth of up to 1m and with a depth of up to 1.5m still 30 meters from the shore. All this makes this place ideal for smaller children and novice swimmers who want to enjoy water fun.
Marina
For all those who want to come to us with a speedboat and want to discover the beauty of the Vltava Cascade. Direct access to water. Private pier on the water – ideal for swimming, fishing, and mooring boats. Descent into the water for motorboats with inflatable boats – right next to the camp. For larger boats - downhill 500m from the camp.
Walks with dogs
Moments in the Camp with your four-legged friends can be made more pleasant by beautiful walks along the bank of the Vltava River, for example to the Vrané Dam, or to nearby Skochovice village.
Relaxation zone with fountain and sun loungers
Perfect place for children to have fun and adults relax. Relax zone is near the bar.
Cycling routes in the vicinity
Camp Matyáš is the perfect place for bike trips. In its vicinity there are several well-groomed cycle paths, with lots of interesting stops and places with refreshments. Without cars and straight along the Vltava River, you can get to the Charles Bridge, or along the Berounka to Karlštejn Castle.
Tourism in the vicinity
Lovers of hiking will need to spend a longer time in our Camp to visit at least the most important attractions in its area. And that there really are not a few of them. Recommendations for some of the most interesting can be found in the CATEGORY SURROUNDINGS.
Wooden castle with slide
Children love this attraction so much that they can go on a rampage here until late in the evening. Parents who look at them from a nearby garden restaurant also allow them to have fun on their own. Great attraction.
Sandboxes full of toys
This is probably the best place for the little ones. The whole playground is one big sandbox with lots of toys. So, the fun for the little ones is taken care of.
Swings and hammocks
Especially on the playground, but also in other places in the camp there are large swings and hammocks, where not only children, but often adults will find their entertainment.
House as a children's room
For all children, there is a place where they can play, compose Lego, draw, watch TV, or just chat and have fun with others. For parents of young children, it is a great place to play with them, especially in bad weather.
Pedal boats, toy cars, balance bikes, bicycles, and scooters
Many pedal boats, toy cars, balance bikes, bikes, and scooters freely available and for the entertainment of all children.
Angling
Fishing is available right next to the campsite on the private pier. Daily permits to buy at Camp Matyáš mainly for those who are just starting out fishing and want to fish with children for the first time. Carp, pikeperch, crucian, tench, bream, eel and other fish, the Vltava at our camp is rich in catches.
Mushrooming
Near the Camp and the vicinity of the Camp there are forests in which you can make your mushrooming experience more pleasant during your walks. For those passionate mushroom pickers, we have a tip for the Brdy Forests, which are nearby and are famous for mushroom catches.
